Goodle Reader

At the beginning of my class I subscribed to the 7 educational blogs as follows:
a. CoolCatTeacher Blog-- http://coolcatteacher.blogspot.com/

b. Will Richardson-- http://willrichardson.com/

c. Larry Ferlazzo’s Websites of the Day-- http://larryferlazzo.edublogs.org/

d. Free Technology for Teachers-- http://www.freetech4teachers.com/

e. A Media Specialist’s Guide to the Internet http://mediaspecialistsguide.blogspot.com/

f. Elementary Education Lesson Plans and Teaching Strategies for Elementary School Teachers
http://k6educators.about.com/

g. Edcation Week American Education News Site of Record
http://edweek.org

My favorite blog post was 77 Educational Games and Games Buildershttp://www.freetech4teachers.com/2011/09/77-educational-games-and-game-builders.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+freetech4teachers%2FcGEY+%28Free+Technology+for+Teachers%29&utm_content=Google+Reader . It was from Free Technology for Teachers. The blog was a list and description of 77 games that have been mentioned in the blog post for the last four years. I liked this post because I feel as an educator we spend valuable time searching for good technology for our students, and this provided a large list in one place.

  2. We do spend quite a bit of time searching for things to help our students. I don't know about you but it would be a lot easier for me to search for this stuff at school if they would stop blocking almost everything on our server. It's crazy that we should be resourceful and don't have access to resources at school. I guess we have to search for resources at home...
